Government announces favorable loans for family businesses

The Government of Serbia has adopted the Decision on adopting the Program of Credit Support to Family Businesses and Entrepreneurs in 2025.

As announced by the government, the concept of a family business encompasses micro and small enterprises in absolute ownership of members of one family, as well as entrepreneurs, and fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandmothers, grandfathers, grandchildren, adopters, adoptees and spouses are considered family members.

The program secures favorable loans meant for family businesses and entrepreneurs.

The funds are meant for the purchase of machines, equipment or parts for machines and specialized tools, new computer equipment, software licenses, vehicles, as well as the purchase of machines and equipment for improving energy efficiency and the ecological aspects of the production, the purchase, adaptation, reconstruction and current maintenance of business or production and warehouse space.
