"Neobus" company from Novi Sad and "Volvo" are making together buses for Balkan market

A factory for manufacture of buses, Neobus, from Novi Sad, which is celebrating 50 years of work this year, plans to make buses for the whole South-Eastern European market, in cooperation with Volvo.

Neobus had had in the last 6 months an intesive cooperation with Volvo. Experts from Sweden were all the time in Novi Sad, where they give their knowledge and technology to domestic company, and in the next few months it is in plan to do a European homologation of these vehicles.

Volvo made a decision to use Neobus as the main factory for building over its existing frames in South-Eastern Europe.

Thanks to this cooperation, the quality of Neobus buses has been significantley improved, and for the factory it is important that it went in the marketing network of Volvo.

Neobus manufactured last year 46 buses, out of which 25 low-grounded, for the public transport, and Novi Sad has in its stocks of public transport a 80% of Volvo buses.

On the Saloon of commercial vehicles Neobus showed its newest models of city and touristic buses, made in cooperation with Volvo, but also in cooperation with FAP from Priboj.
