Aleksandar Vucic, the former President of Serbia and lead candidate of the “Aleksandar Vucic – United Serbia” list, stated that he had reached an agreement with Romanian President Nicusor Dan to begin construction of the Belgrade-Vrsac-Timișoara highway.

– I recently spoke with the Romanian president about the final road connection via the Belgrade-Timișoara highway, and we agreed to start work on the Timișoara-Vrsac-Belgrade highway – Vucic said at an election rally in Pancevo.

Vucic noted that Romanian authorities were keenly interested in establishing an infrastructure link with Serbia.
