Government of Serbia and Minth building technology park in Indjija spanning over 300 hectares

Indjija is set to get a technology park, to be built right next to the existing industrial zone, covering an area of more than 300 hectares. Municipal assembly members adopted a decision regarding the construction of the technology park at an urgent session, marking a step forward in the realization of this major project.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the company Minth are collaborating on the project, and the plan is for the new industrial-technology zone to be equipped with complete infrastructure, including roads and thoroughfares, water supply and sewage networks, power infrastructure, and other facilities necessary to attract new investors.

The location is expected to host new Chinese investments as well as other companies, a move anticipated to create new jobs and further strengthen Indjija’s economy.

Marko Gasic, the President of the Municipality of Indjija, emphasized that the realization of this project would significantly transform the municipality’s landscape.

– Indjija will be unrecognizable – Gasic stated, highlighting that the technology park represented a major new development opportunity for the municipality.
