EUR 20 million for financial leasing in Serbia – Raiffeisen Leasing and EIB sign loan agreement

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Raiffeisen Leasing have signed a loan agreement worth EUR 20 million in Belgrade.

Raiffeisen Leasing will be approving financial leasing from this credit line, which is meant primarily for the sector of small and medium enterprises, as well as for projects promoted by the Government of Serbia, investments in knowledge economy, energy, environmental protection, healthcare, education, industry, tourism and other service sectors.

Financial leasing is approved with a repayment period of over two years, at favorable interest rates.

Through this loan, Raiffeisen Leasing, in cooperation with the EIB, wants to enable the local business sector to access the capital necessary for doing business in a challenging economic environment, but also to enhance the economic development of the state as a whole, the company's press release says.

This is the fourth cooperation of Raiffeisen Leasing and the EIB in the project of financing small and medium enterprises in Serbia.
