Government extends reduction of excise duty on petroleum products until October 11

The government has extended the 25% reduction in excise duties on petroleum products by another week, until October 11, the Ministry of Finance confirmed to RTS.

The previous excise duty reduction expires on Sunday.

Due to the global oil crisis, other measures to protect the domestic market remain in effect - specifically, price caps on petroleum products - and the ban on fuel exports has also been extended until the end of October.
