Send SMS to 1003 to donate money for flood-endangered areas

All those who want to donate money for flood-endangered areas in Serbia can still do that by sending an SMS to 1003 regardless of which their home network is (MTS, Telenor or Vip).

Since the activation of this 1003 service for help to endangered areas, a total of 277,560 texts have been send until 9 AM on May 18th from the MTS network alone, Telekom Srbija announced in a release. In that way, MTS subscribers have donated RSD 27,756,000.

By 3 PM on May 18th, Telenor subscribers have sent a total of 287,880 messages to 1003, thus raising close to RSD 29 million.

All the funds raised in this way will be used to provide necessary aid to endangered people and recover flood-struck parts of Serbia.

Every message sent to 1003 is charged RSD 100 (no tax is charged).
