Robot factory in Sabac to open on August 29

The robot factory in Sabac will open on August 29, announced Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

The robot factory in Sabac, which was originally scheduled to open in June and July, is expected to employ more than 200 people at first, and the finished products will be exported to European and global markets.

According to earlier announcements, it will produce humanoid robots, as well as robots that look like dogs.

As the state indicated, it will be the first such factory in Europe.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced in February after a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company AGIBOT innovation that the plan was to open a humanoid robot factory. At that time, he emphasized that it was about applied artificial intelligence and explained that it was not just about software but also hardware.
