He stated for Radio Belgrade that these were humanoid robots, but also robots that looked like dogs.
– That factory should start operating in Sabac and produce robots as early as next month. It is significant because it is the first such factory in Europe. So, Serbia is becoming a country where robots will be produced – said Jovanovic.
The plan to open a humanoid robot factory was announced by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in February. He pointed out at the time that it was about applied artificial intelligence and explained that it was not just software but also hardware.
– Someone has to make these robots, machines, joints and other things and all of that could be made in Serbia. So, those are three things. A robot factory, the second thing to be, of course, in addition to the data center, we also have data factories. Why? Because these robots have to have 100 million hours of learning for what they do. They are able to make you tea, make coffee, iron things in the house, do laundry and everything else. And we will try to produce all of that here and be the first in Europe and have it all happen this year – Vucic pointed out at the time.
