EPS offers dynamic price contracts to companies

Elektroprivreda Srbije continues to develop and improve its electricity supply offer in line with modern market trends and the needs of the economy. Thus, contracts with variable, or dynamic, electricity prices are available to customers on the commercial market.

These are supply models in which the price of electricity is not fixed throughout the entire contract period, but is formed in accordance with developments in the electricity market.

– The price is calculated based on the reference price from our SEEPEX exchange day-ahead, with the addition of a contracted margin – explained Vojkan Vucković, Director of the EPS Free Market Development Sector, at the conference “Energy Resilience of Companies: From Market Risks to Concrete Solutions” organized by the American Chamber of Commerce.

He reminded that EPS offered contracts indexed to hourly prices, average monthly prices, as well as a hybrid model in which part of the consumption was fixed, while the rest was indexed to market prices.

– Such supply models provide customers with greater flexibility, transparency and the ability to optimize electricity costs, especially in conditions of active consumption management. On the other hand, these contracts also imply greater exposure to market fluctuations, which is why they are most suitable for companies that have developed energy management and the ability to adjust consumption to market conditions – said Vuckovic.

EPS concluded the first contract indexed to average monthly prices back in May 2025, and in the meantime, contracts indexed to hourly prices have also been implemented, as well as hybrid supply models.
