Business Summit 2026 to be held in Belgrade in May

In May this year, Serbia will host one of the most important and influential business events in the region for the first time – Business Summit 2026, which will be held in Belgrade under the slogan “A Vision Under Construction,” the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS) announced.

This event will bring together domestic, regional and global leaders in business, politics and finance, at a time when global changes are redefining the relationships between power, capital and development, the announcement says.

– With a thematically relevant and current program, Business Summit 2026 goes beyond the format of a classic business conference because it opens up dialogue and achieves influence, by setting directions that shape future market trends and economic policies – the statement emphasizes.

As indicated, topics that are already shaping the economic map of the world will be concentrated in one place. The “Power of Capital” panel will address one of the most sensitive issues in contemporary global relations – where politics ends and business begins, and whether globalization as we know it is giving way to new regional economic blocs. The “Energy Node” panel will discuss the dilemmas that determine the future of states – whether real power lies in political sovereignty or control over energy resources, as well as where Serbia stands in the global fight for energy. The topic of CBAM and ETS will introduce participants to a direct collision with European climate policies that are already having concrete and increasingly pronounced economic consequences for the domestic economy.

The “EXPOSE Your Business” panel will open the doors to large investments and development projects, with a realistic assessment of their scope and potential for growth, while the final session “Digital Capital” will provide a glimpse into the future that has already begun – a world in which artificial intelligence, 5G networks and digital currencies are changing the way we do business, work and live.

Special focus will be placed on energy security, nuclear energy, and the impact of large infrastructure projects on the development of Serbia and the region. In addition to dynamic panel discussions, the summit will also include “hard talk” formats, as well as a stage program.
