The City of Belgrade has opened the public invitation to the unemployed for the allocation of subsidies for self-employment in 2022, which incites the employment of the unemployed through the program of self-employment, that is, the allocation of subsidies for the founding of new startup business entities, primarily for the young, women and categories that are difficult to employ.
This measure envisages the opening of around 50 new business entities and the self-employment of 50 unemployed people.
The total funds for this program, together with the funds of the Republic of Serbia, amount to RSD 15,686,274.50.
The secretary for economy, Milinko Velickovic, stated that the City of Belgrade had secured funds in the amount of RSD 8 million for the measures and programs of the active employment policy.
– The Secretariat for Economy and the National Employment Service, Belgrade Office, have signed the Agreement on the Harmonization of Mutual Rights and Obligations in the Realization of the Programs or Measures of the Active Employment Policy for 2022. Under the decision of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, funds of the Republic of Serbia in the amount of RSD 7,686,274.50 have been set aside, which is 49% of the total funds needed to finance the Local Action Plan of Employment – said Velickovic.
