New Public Invitation of EU PRO Plus for Aiding Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurs – Applications Open Until February 2

The European Union Local Development Program, EU PRO, Plus, has published the public invitation for the projects of organizations for the support to business operations, which are supposed to contribute to the competitiveness and sustainability of the operations of micro, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs in the regions of Sumadija and West Serbia and South and East Serbia.

The invitation is open until February 2, 2022.

The projects with which organizations should apply should also contribute to the companies’ entrance to new markets, the implementation of standards and the increasing of the capability of a small business to recover and be more resilient to the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, says the announcement. The European Union set aside EUR 500,000 for this invitation, and eligible applicants are regional development agencies, business incubators, science-technology parks, clusters, business associations, chambers of commerce, as well as research and higher education institutions.

Individual projects of organizations can get support in the amount of EUR 20,000 to 50,000, whereas organization need to direct their projects at, among other things, the digitalization of the business operations of small and medium enterprises, making their operations green and implementing circular economy, the standardization and the certification for quality standards, the marketing and expansion to new markets, access to sources of finance and the increase of the resilience of the small business.
