On November 18, the Chinese company Techron Automotive will open a factory in Indjija, following an initial investment of EUR 20 million. The 4,500 m2 production facility will manufacture injection-molded plastic components for electric vehicles, with the first shipments to European customers expected by the end of February 2027.

According to the Municipality of Indjija, the factory is in the final stages of construction, and production development is planned to unfold in three phases. Company representatives have stated that this marks Techron's first investment outside of China.

Marko Gasic, Mayor of Indjija, met with company representatives to discuss the completion of construction, the facility's infrastructure requirements and future investments.

– This is Techron's first investment outside of China, and everything produced here will be exported to Germany for Volkswagen – said Gasic.

The factory will operate based on a concept of high-level automation and digitalization, with a significant number of highly educated employees. The company has also announced that all management positions will be filled exclusively by local experts.

The opening of this facility marks the beginning of Techron Automotive's planned development in Indjija, with further investments expected in subsequent phases of the project.
