Chinese Techron Automotive requests green light to build factory in Indjija

The Municipality of Indjija has informed the public that the company Techron Automotive doo Beograd has submitted a request for a decision on the need for an environmental impact assessment for the project to build a production complex for the production of plastic parts for cars in Indjija.

The factory of the Chinese company Techron, the first outside its home country, is planned at the cadastral parcel 5979/12, in the cadastral municipality of Indjija, and as the Municipality of Indjija announced in September, works on the construction of the capacity will begin by the end of this year.

The construction is planned in the Indjija industrial zone. In the first phase, the construction of a plant on an area of 4,500 square meters is planned, with the employment of 200 workers in the final phase.

The opening of the plant is planned for mid-2026.

The company produces auto parts for Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Chery, Geely, as well as many others.

Their products include engine and transmission components, and they also make interior and exterior parts (e.g. plastic components) and control system parts.
