Platform with daily price lists now available to shoppers in Serbia – Access to 11,000 products across 4,000 retail locations with a single click

The previously announced national platform featuring daily retail price lists is now officially available to the citizens of Serbia.

With just a single click and without the need for registration, shoppers can now check daily prices for over 11,000 products across 39 retail chains, spanning more than 4,000 individual store locations.

The platform was unveiled at the Government of Serbia by the Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade, Jagoda Lazarevic, and the Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment, Mihailo Jovanovic.

A key feature is the ability to search for and compare the prices of the same product across different retail chains.

The platform was developed in collaboration with the Office for IT and eGovernment. It is expected that two additional retailers will soon be included, once they format their data according to the prescribed standards.

According to the announcement, and in compliance with the Law on Consumer Protection, retailers are required to publish their price lists on their own websites, as well as on the Open Data Portal, where they are made publicly accessible.

The obligation to publish price lists, which must be updated on a daily basis, applies to retailers who generated a total annual revenue exceeding 3 billion dinars last year. The platform enables the monitoring of prices across various retailers within 25 product categories. It is most easily accessed via the homepage of the Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade website, in the "Highlights" ("Izdvajamo") section, by clicking on the "Retail Price Lists" (“Cenovnici”) banner.
