Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that the Belgrade-Budapest railroad was expected to open in October, once Hungary completed testing.

Speaking on Radio Belgrade 1, he noted that the exact date depended on Hungary.

According to him, Hungary is expected to finish testing on October 3 or 4, and the line could open two or three weeks after that.
