Government establishes negotiating team for European roaming regime

At today’s session, the Serbian Government adopted the Decision on the establishment of a negotiating team to conduct negotiations with the European Commission for the inclusion of the Republic of Serbia in the European “Roam Like Home” regime, thus creating conditions for coordinated negotiations and harmonization of the domestic regulatory framework with the acquis communautaire in the field of roaming.

– Serbia’s inclusion in this regime will enable citizens and businesses to use mobile communication services more conveniently when staying in EU countries, and the decision represents an important step in the process of further integration of Serbia into the single European digital market and strengthening cooperation with the European Union in the field of electronic communications – the Government announced.
