As announced, the goal of this year’s forum is to examine the key challenges facing the Serbian and regional economies through an argumentative discussion, as well as to identify sustainable development directions in the face of global changes.
The focus will be on competitiveness, investments, the labor market, digital transformation and sustainable development in the face of a changed global economic environment. It is expected that the exchange of experiences and different perspectives will contribute to the formulation of recommendations for improving the business environment and the formulation of concrete measures for long-term growth.
On the first day of the Kopaonik Business Forum, introductory presentations and panels will be dedicated to contemporary economic developments, global trends and development challenges. Over the following days, the topics of industrial policy, economic competitiveness, Serbia’s investment prospects, financial sector development, artificial intelligence, digitalization and the application of new technologies, as well as labor market issues and sustainable development will be discussed.
Representatives of the most important financial institutions, companies and state bodies are expected to attend the Kopaonik Business Forum. The participants will be addressed by the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Jorgovanka Tabakovic, and the Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, while representatives of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as leaders of leading regional companies and international organizations will participate in the panel discussions.
Visitors can expect 35 panels, three plenary sessions and six special events, and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Djuro Macut, will also address the attendees.
