– The Kopaonik Business Forum has been a central place for dialogue between the economy, the state and the academic community for more than three decades. The goal of this year’s Forum is to examine the key challenges facing the Serbian and regional economy through an argumentative discussion, as well as to identify sustainable directions for development in the conditions of global changes – said the President of the Association of Serbian Economists, Aleksandar Vlahovic, according to the announcement.
He added that he believed that the exchange of experiences and different perspectives would contribute to the formulation of recommendations for improving the business environment and formulating concrete measures for long-term growth. The first day of the Kopaonik Business Forum will feature introductory presentations and panels dedicated to contemporary economic developments, global trends and development challenges.
Over the next few days, the topics of industrial policy, economic competitiveness, Serbia’s investment prospects, financial sector development, artificial intelligence, digitalization and the application of new technologies, as well as labor market issues and sustainable development will be discussed. Representatives of the most important financial institutions, companies and government agencies are expected to attend the Kopaonik Business Forum.
The participants will be addressed by the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Jorgovanka Tabakovic, and the Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, while representatives of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as leaders of leading regional companies and international organizations, will participate in the panel discussions.
