Mali: Work on stations of first subway line scheduled to begin this year

This year, the plan is to begin working on the stations of the first line of the Belgrade Subway, that is, for the project to enter a concrete phase of implementation, in accordance with the established dynamics, stated Finance Minister Sinisa Mali on his Instagram account.

As he indicated in the post, this is an important meeting with all the key participants working on the Belgrade Subway construction project.

– This is certainly the largest and most complicated project in the history of not only Belgrade, but also the whole of Serbia. That is why such meetings are often unpleasant, but necessary – he indicated, adding that the focus was on dynamics, coordination and timely resolution of all challenges.

Let us remind that, last week, Mali and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot signed a joint statement on the Belgrade Subway project. The joint statement, as Mali stated, welcomed the signing of the Commercial Agreement with Alstom and the Financial Protocol for financing the first phase of the Belgrade Subway project on December 19 of the previous year.
