Serbia to get first factory for production of “highly sophisticated drones” in spring

The first large drone factory will open in Serbia at the end of March or beginning of April, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced, emphasizing that highly sophisticated drones would be manufactured there.

– Soon, at the end of March, beginning of April, at the latest in 2026, I expect the opening of the first large drone factory in our country. I am proud to point out that these will be highly sophisticated drones, which we are working on with a major foreign power – he stated.

He emphasized that it was not about Serbia’s Komarac 1 drone, which the country was otherwise satisfied with, or Komarac 2, but about highly sophisticated drones that they would work on, as he said, with a major foreign power.

– There will be production here in Serbia – added Vucic.

Let us remind that it was recently announced that the Czech military and mechanical industry holding CSG, which also operates in Serbia, had purchased a majority stake in the Serbian manufacturer of engines for unmanned aerial vehicles MUST Solutions.
