- When we open Cacak-Kraljevo in May, June, or Preljina and Adrani, we still have to do these 12 kilometers from Adrani to Vrba, to connect this around Kraljevo and that will be finished by September - said Vucic.
The section opened today will, as indicated, be open to traffic from tomorrow morning at 8 am and there will be no toll collection on it until January 14.

The opened section is about 14 kilometers long (13.78 km) and with it, a total of 72 km of the Morava Corridor out of its planned total of 112.4 km, will be open to traffic. This highway is designed for speeds of up to 130 kilometers per hour.
The Morava Corridor is also the first digital highway in Serbia.
The contractor is the American-Turkish consortium Bechtel Enka.
The Morava Corridor, when completed, will connect the Rasina, Raska and Moravica districts with corridors 10 and 11, i.e. the Milos Veliki and Belgrade-Nis highways. This corridor consists of three sections - Pojate-Krusevac (27.83 km), Krusevac-Adrani (53.88 km) and Adrani-Mrcajevci-Preljina (30.66 km). The construction of the corridor began at the end of 2019 and it was announced at that time that the works should be completed four years later, that is, in 2023 at the same time.
Let us remind that, as we wrote last month, the state borrowed an additional EUR 260 million for the construction of this corridor. Specifically, this is a Credit Arrangement Agreement relating to a loan guaranteed by the British agency UKEF.
