JANAF gets license for continued delivery of oil to NIS by October 15

JANAF has announced that the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued a seven-day license for the delivery of oil to NIS.

JANAF d.d. has obtained a license authorizing participation in activities that are customary and necessary for the transportation of oil, for the purpose of completing all activities undertaken under the valid crude oil transportation contract, by October 15, 2025 – the press release says.


The company says that they will continue actively cooperating with the Government of Croatia and American legal advisors on finding a solution in line with the current regulatory framework.

– JANAF d.d. continues to work actively, in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Croatia and its U.S. legal advisors, on exploring possibilities for finding solutions in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework – the company says in the press release.

The press release adds that, at this time, JANAF has not received official information that NIS a.d. has been granted a license for the aforementioned period.
