At a panel at the “RES Serbia 2025” conference, of which eKapija is the media sponsor, Zivkovic said that EPS’s goal was to keep a large share of the electricity market, both in production and supply.
– What’s crucial is the way in which a relationship will be established with independent electricity producers which are seeking their place in the market and who are on one side, while on the other are energy companies, such as EPS, which are less privileged, and at the same time, are crucial for energy security in times of energy transition – said Zivkovic.
He also stated that the first megawatts from EPS’s first wind farm in Kostolac would be on the grid not long after.
– We have made significant business decisions precisely with that goal in mind, to try to maintain a large market share in both production and electricity supply – said Zivkovic.
