As the implementation of the wind farm has been experiencing significant deviations from the planned dynamics, EPS has assessed that additional supervision is necessary to ensure the quality and safety of construction. The subject of the procurement includes professional supervision in accordance with the Law on Planning and Construction and relevant regulations, as well as coordination with supervision teams already engaged in the project.
The selected bidder will be obliged to monitor the works on a daily basis, control the quality of materials and equipment, review the construction log, and prepare weekly, monthly and final reports. It will also be obliged to cooperate with the FIDIC engineer, previously contracted professional supervision and the contractor, and to ensure that EPS is informed in a timely manner about all problems, deviations and risks.
The deadline for submitting applications is September 30, and more details (in Serbian) can be seen HERE.
The project “Renewable Energy Sources Kostolac - Wind Farm” envisages the construction of a wind farm with an installed capacity of 66 MW in Kostolac, about 90 kilometers east of Belgrade, and is part of a broader strategy of EPS and Serbia to increase the share of renewable energy sources in the production mix.
