Chinese Company Shandong Golden Empire to Invest EUR 30 Million in Factory Construction in Cuprija – Plans Include Production of E-Vehicle Parts and Wind Turbine Equipment

Chinese company Shandong Golden Empire Precision Machinery Technology Co. Ltd. will invest EUR 30 million in the construction of a factory in Cuprija, where components for new energy vehicles, hydrogen systems, and wind turbine equipment will be produced, according to a statement following the signing of a Memorandum between the Government of Serbia, the Municipality of Cuprija, and the Chinese company.

The initial phase includes the creation of 100 jobs, whereas the total number of employees is expected to reach 450 by the end of 2028.

Serbia’s Minister of Economy, Adrijana Mesarovic, had previously announced that Shandong Golden Empire Precision Machinery Technology plans to build a factory in Serbia to serve the needs of renowned automotive manufacturer BMW.
