Two memorandums worth EUR 950 million signed with Minth - Construction of automotive plants in Leskovac and Cuprija in the next five years

Minth Holdings Limited has committed to investing EUR 950 million over the next five years to develop new industrial facilities for the automotive sector in the Serbian cities of Leskovac and Cuprija. The investment was formalized through memorandums of understanding signed by Serbia’s Minister of Economy, Adrijana Mesarovic, and representatives of Minth.

Minister Mesarovic noted that Minth has been operating successfully in Serbia for nearly a decade, employing over 3,500 people. The company specializes in manufacturing components for the automotive industry and related sectors.

According to a statement posted on her official Instagram account, the initial phase of this investment is expected to create 1,000 new jobs in Leskovac and an additional 1,800 in Ćuprija.

This announcement follows recent news that Minth also plans to build an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Indjija, with a projected investment of EUR 870 million and plans to hire 2,200 employees. The Municipal Assembly of Inđija has approved the initiation of a Detailed Regulation Plan for the "Serbia Advanced Mobility Center," a necessary step for enabling construction of the new facility.
