Chinese company LAUNCH is considering building a factory for final vehicle assembly in Serbia

Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic met with Mr. Wang Xuen, president of the Chinese company LAUNCH, to discuss potential investment opportunities in Serbia’s automotive sector.

According to the official statement, the talks focused on the possibility of establishing a research and development center, as well as a vehicle final assembly plant.

The proposed projects would involve knowledge transfer and the creation of new jobs in Serbia.

Minister Mesarovic also noted that the discussion included an assessment of Serbia’s overall business climate from the perspective of Chinese investors, along with the country’s key logistical and infrastructure advantages for prospective partners.
