Chinese company planning construction of factory in Serbia for needs of BMW

The company GEB – Shandong Golden Empire Precision Machinery Technology is planning to build a factory in Serbia for the needs of the renowned car manufacturer BMW, announced the minister of economy, Adrijana Mesarovic, after a conversation with representatives of the Chinese companies GEB and MINTH about new investments in Serbia.

The deputy prime minister pointed out that Serbia had been shortlisted for the realization of that big investment and that she hoped that there would be good news not long after.

She explained that it would once again confirm that big world companies decided to invest in Serbia, proving the stability and a prosperous economic policy.

Mesarovic also said that MINTH, which employs 3,000 people, following the construction of factories in Sabac and Loznica, also wanted to build new capacities in other parts of the country.

The minister emphasized that her ministry would continue providing support to investors that influence the further development of the Serbian economy, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
