The road, which will be approximately 18 kilometers long, is designed with two traffic lanes 3.75 m wide in each direction, 2.5 m wide stop lanes, shoulder lanes, a 4 m wide central dividing island and 1.50 m wide shoulders on both sides. The total width of the normal cross-section is 30 m.

Another highway whose completion is quite late
Let us remind that more than three years ago, when officials marked the start of work on the route of the future Kuzmin-Sremska Raca highway at an official ceremony, the announcement was that the work was expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The section is not long, about 18 kilometers, but the work has not been completed even to this day.
When it became clear that the 2023 deadline was unrealistic, the authorities announced that the work was expected to be completed by September 2024. It was not long after this announcement that, last summer, state officials announced that the work was expected to be completed by the end of 2024, but that deadline was also missed.
Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijevic stated in May that, according to the latest plans, the Kuzmin-Sremska Raca highway section, with a bridge over the Sava, would be completed by the end of the year.
By the way, before the works on the highway route itself, the construction of the bridge over the Sava between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina began (in 2019) and the main works on that bridge have been completed.
