The Serbian Railways Infrastructure company has once again opened a public procurement procedure for the preparation of a Study on the Assessment of the Structural Condition of the Novi Sad Rail Station Building, as there were no bids sent in response to the previous tender.

The estimated value of the public procurement is not cited this time, whereas, in the previous, unsuccessful, procedure, it was RSD 30 million without the VAT.

Bids may be sent by July 21, and more details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.

Let us remind that, at the beginning of the year, the Serbian Railways Infrastructure company awarded the job of preparing a Study on the Assessment of the Structural Condition of the Novi Sad Rail Station Building to the Faculty of Technical Sciences from that city and the Institute for Materials Testing. The explanation for awarding the contract without a public call for tenders was “exceptional urgency.”

However, on May 17, this contract was terminated, because, according to Forbes Serbia, the provider of the service was not enabled to access the facility within the agreed completion deadline.

By the way, Serbian Railways Infrastructure stopped the first negotiation procedure for the preparation of this study, because no bid had been sent in response to it. This pertains to the procedure initiated on November 27 last year.
