The company EXPO 2027 d.o.o. has opened the procurement procedure for the preparation of a preliminary design for nine collective pavilions which will be part of the complex of the international specialized exhibition EXPO 2027. The pavilions will be located within the EXPO 2027 complex, in two zones - the International Participants Area and the Thematic Area and encompass a total area of 12,636 m2.

The collective pavilions will be of different sizes: small (972 m2), medium (1,296 m2) and large (1,944 m2), and eight to sixteen participating countries will be located in each of them, with an average area of around 122.7 m2 per participant. These collective pavilions are expected to provide various participation formats for a total of 130 countries.

The pavilions are thematically organized, with names such as Pacific Resort, Caribbean Melodies, African Heritage and Asian Harmony.

The project is to be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, the business entity has the obligation to prepare three preliminary designs for each of the nine collective pavilions, whereby the total scope of the designing is treated as if covering 37,908 m2. This phase must be completed within 30 working days from the handing over of the documentation, and the solutions must include the floor plans, section plans, prospects, 3D models, mood boards and presentations.

In the second phase, the selected design will be developed in detail, with technical documentation which includes all the relevant drawings and visualizations, displays of the pavilions at various levels (R1:1000, R1:500, R1:200), as well as a technical description of all the engineering professions (architecture, construction, MEP installations). This phase also lasts up to 30 working days and entails regular weekly meetings with the procuring entity.

Bids may be submitted by July 14, and more details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.
