Tender extended for construction of Kraljevo-Novi Pazar expressway and connection to Kosovo and Metohija

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the PE Corridors of Serbia have extended the tender for the selection of a strategic partner for the construction of the Kraljevo-Novi Pazar expressway, including the Raska-Jarinje connection (a branch of the E-761 highway).

The tender was announced in late September. The original deadline of October 15 has been extended by fifteen days, allowing interested parties to submit their bids until the 30th of this month. A submission is considered timely if received by 3:30 PM on October 30, and the opening of bids will take place on November 2. The route of the future expressway extends from the Morava Corridor, specifically the Adrani interchange within the territory of the City of Kraljevo, to the planned bypass around Novi Pazar. The route passes through the territories of the City of Kraljevo and the City of Novi Pazar, as well as the Municipality of Raska, and is divided into 8 sections.

The planned route from Kraljevo to Novi Pazar spans 80.7 km, while the branch toward Jarinje, which provides a connection to the province of Kosovo and Metohija, measures 12.8 km. The total length of the expressway is 93.5 km.
