Czech Republic to attend Expo 2027 – Space mission in pavilion’s center

The Czech Republic has officially confirmed its participation in the Specialized Exhibition Expo 2027 Belgrade. The signing of the contract also formalized preparations for the country’s appearance at the Belgrade exhibition, whose slogan is “Play for Humanity”.

The Czech Republic has extensive experience in participating in world and specialized exhibitions, and its pavilion from Expo in Brussels, held almost seven decades ago, is still remembered today. They say they are coming to Belgrade with the idea of showing that even the greatest goals can be achieved with work and knowledge.

The Commissioner of the Czech Republic’s section for Expo 2027 Belgrade, Krystof Safer, says that the central theme of the Czech pavilion will be the national space program.

– Next year, the Czech Republic is sending an astronaut into space. That will also be the main theme of our pavilion. I think we will also organize activities near the Nikola Tesla monument in Prague, where we will promote the Belgrade Expo in our country as well – says Safer.

The formal signing of the agreement with the Czech Republic is part of the preparations for the country’s representation at the exhibition, which will be another opportunity to present its potential to the world. The director of the Expo 2027 company, Danilo Jerinic, estimates that visitors to Belgrade will have the opportunity to see a very attractive exhibition.

– I think there will be a very attractive exhibition and something that will really leave a deep mark on Belgrade in 2027. Our theme “Play for Humanity” calls on us to continue building bridges, to write a common history together and to be proud of it – emphasizes Jerinic.
