Agreement signed on U.S. participation in Expo 2027

U.S. State Department Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers, who is visiting Belgrade, wrote on X that she had just signed an agreement on U.S. participation in the specialized Expo exhibition that will be held in Belgrade next summer.

“The United States and Serbia have entered a new era of bilateral relations, and Expo will be a great opportunity to highlight our friendship and trade ties,” Rogers wrote on her X account.

The theme of the Expo is “Play for Humanity,” Rogers wrote, adding that American companies, inventors, athletes, and artists are obviously excellent at that, and that she looks forward to the partnership and showcasing them.

Rogers signed the agreement with Serbia’s Minister of Internal and External Trade and Commissioner for Expo 2027, Jagoda Lazarevic, and the director of Expo 2027 Beograd, Danilo Jerinic.
