Construction of Industrial and Technology Park in Krusevac being completed, first tenants in September – 39 offices and 14 production halls with space for more than 200 users

The idea of building the Industrial and Technology Park in Krusevac was born six years ago and since then, intensive work has been underway on this project. The cornerstone was laid in 2024, after which construction work began.

According to the director, Martina Manojlovic, it will be a unique park in Serbia.

– All other parks in Serbia, including in the Balkans, are more oriented towards science and technology parks. We also have that scientific component and there will certainly be space for science, innovation, startups and spin-off companies, but our park is unique because it is industrial. We will have 14 halls, each with an area of 280 square meters, which means that there will also be production space for the development of industry in our city – Manojlovic told RTK.

“Smart building”, “a small factory of large companies” and “a station to the future” are just some of the names used to describe this unique park.

– We want to reach every innovator in our region and beyond and have them develop their business and realize their idea here. Spin-off companies and startups are very important to us, as is every company that has the potential for progressive growth. We will support family entrepreneurship, innovative entrepreneurship and light industry. This will be a meeting place for entrepreneurs, where they will be able to exchange ideas and experiences – she emphasized.

While the business incubator is heavily preparing future tenants, that is, companies that will use the park’s space, the conditions they need to meet have also been defined.

– The Board of Directors will decide which companies are most suitable for developing business in our park, but we will support all people with good ideas and provide a chance to anyone who has an innovative approach to developing entrepreneurship – stated Manojlovic.

There is great interest from domestic and foreign companies. At the recently held technology fair, companies from China and Russia also presented their proposals and initiatives.

The industrial and technology park will have 39 offices for more than 200 users and 14 production halls. In addition, congress and exhibition halls will be built.

In order to allow users to stay and work all day long, a restaurant, a gym, and organized childcare are planned within the complex.

The industrial and technology park will be part of the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade and will bring together around 120 countries over the course of three months.

The first tenants should move in at the beginning of September, concluded Manojlovic.
