Air Serbia establishes direct route between Belgrade and Munich after 18 years

Air Serbia officially re-established direct route between Belgrade and Munich on Friday, after a break of 18 years.

The statement says that this was done with flight JU342/3 and adds that flights between the capital of Serbia and the largest city in Bavaria will be operated daily.

This further improves the connection of Belgrade with one of the leading European business centers, it is added.

– By establishing a direct route between Belgrade and Munich, we are further strengthening our presence on the German market and improving the connection of Serbia with an important transport and economic hub in Europe – said Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek.

According to him, Munich is an important destination for business travelers and those traveling for pleasure.

– By introducing daily flights, we confirm our commitment to expanding our network and continuously responding to the needs of the market and passengers, and we enable quick and easy connections via Belgrade to our extensive network of destinations – he said.

Air Serbia now flies directly from Belgrade and Nis to ten destinations in Germany.

Flights from Belgrade to Munich are operated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 07:10 AM, while return flights are scheduled at 09:30 AM.

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flights from Belgrade are operated at 5:55 PM, and return flights from Munich at 8:15 PM.
