TBEA company interested in starting transformer production in Serbia

The TBEA company from China is considering opening a factory in Serbia as it is interested in starting transformer production in our country.

TBEA is among the leading companies in China in the production of equipment for power systems, as well as in the field of technological research and innovation.

Representatives of this company see Serbia as a priority when it comes to TBEA’s investment in Europe, said Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic, who met with the president of TBEA in Tianjin.

Mesarovic and EDS Director Biljana Komnenic spoke with representatives of this company about cooperation, transfer of technology and knowledge, and above all about opening this company’s transformer production facility in Serbia.

– We had extremely constructive talks, which determined further steps in our cooperation. The potential investment in our country is strategically very important, considering that it brings concrete technological innovation, new jobs with a direct impact on the growth of our GDP, and great potential for creating a supply chain within this industry – said Mesarovic.
