Construction of “moles” for Belgrade Subway completed, to leave China for Serbia in June

The construction of two TBMs, so-called “moles,” which will be used for the construction of the Belgrade Subway, has been officially completed, announced Finance Minister Sinisa Mali.

– The moles were made in China, and factory testing of their technical correctness has begun at the manufacturer’s CRCHI factory in the Chinese city of Changsha – Mali pointed out on Instagram.

During the testing, as he stated, all the most important TBM systems are checked - mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control ones, in order to ensure full readiness for work in the field.

– After the testing is completed, the moles will, as we expect, leave for Serbia in June – Mali pointed out.

Let us remind that, as Miroslav Cuckovic stated last month, the boring of subway stations should begin in April at two locations in Belgrade - at the planned stations in Zeleznik and near the Pancevo Bridge.
