Year-on-year inflation in Serbia in February 2.5%

Prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in February 2026 in relation to January 2026 increased by 0.5%, on average, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. Consumer prices in February 2026 increased by 2.5% in relation to February 2025, while compared with December 2025, consumer prices increased by 0.8%, on average.


Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption, in February 2026 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Health (1.0%), Food and non-alcoholic beverages and Transport (each by 0.9%), Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.7%), Restaurants and hotels (0.3%), Recreation, sport and culture (0.2%), in the groups Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, Insurance and financial services, Personal care, social protection and miscellaneous goods and services and Education (each by 0.1%). Decrease of prices was noted in the groups Clothing and footwear (-0.8%) and Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (-0.1%).

Prices of other goods and services mostly remained unchanged.
