I do not expect major changes when it comes to fuel prices this week, given that existing reserves are still being used, but already next week it could become a problem considering that, as you have heard, natural gas production has stopped in the Middle East and there is a major issue with how to transport oil, meaning there is a huge shock in the energy market when the whole world is in question, said Finance Minister Sinisa Mali.

He pointed out that the price of oil is rising, while the price of gas has already skyrocketed. During a tour of the construction works on the National Pavilion of Serbia in the EXPO complex, he emphasized that the state will take measures and that “there is no reason to worry.”

The state will find a way to respond adequately. We will behave very responsibly and take steps to mitigate in the best possible way the negative impact of rising global energy prices, both on our economy and on our citizens - Mali said.
