The PE Roads of Serbia has announced a tender for the design and construction of the missing infrastructure, as well as the installation of a toll collection system at toll stations across Serbia. The estimated value of the procurement is 2.2 billion dinars.

The subject of the procurement includes the implementation of a "design and build" system at the toll stations in Vrba, Kamidzora, Maradik, Kuzmin, Sremska Raca, Vranjska Banja and Batocina, which are being built or upgraded as part of the continued construction of key road routes - the Morava Corridor (Pozega-Preljina), the Kuzmin-Sremska Raca motorway and the A1 motorway.

As stated in the documentation, all toll stations will be integrated into a closed toll collection system, with some planned as side toll stations, and the Sremska Raca station as a front toll station. The works are planned for implementation in 2026.

In addition to the construction of the facilities, the tender includes the complete preparation of project and technical documentation, from the conceptual design to the project of the completed facility, as well as the execution of construction and trade works, the installation of electrical, hydrotechnical, telecommunications, signaling and mechanical installations.

A separate procurement segment refers to the delivery and installation of modern toll collection equipment, video surveillance of the toll collection process, alarm systems and stable fire alarm systems, which must be fully compatible with the existing toll collection system in Serbia.

The installation of additional facilities at toll stations is also planned, including solar power plants on canopies, with a power of up to 80 kW depending on the location, as well as chargers for electric vehicles.

The deadline for submitting bids is February 20, and more details can be found HERE.
