Tender for reconstruction and expansion of Bogojevo port announced

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, has announced a tender for the reconstruction and expansion of the Bogojevo port.

The tender covers the construction of new capacities of the Bogojevo port, including environmental protection works, geotechnical preparations, access provision, transport infrastructure, excavation, filling and compaction of soil, bank and embankments, as well as monitoring of the works. The contractor will also be responsible for the preparation of the Construction Project (CP) in accordance with the Law on Planning and Construction of the Republic of Serbia.

The contract will be implemented under the terms of the FIDIC “Red Book” (First Edition 1999), and financing is provided by a combination of funds from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and a loan from the European Investment Bank for infrastructure on inland waterways of Serbia.

The Bogojevo port is located on the left bank of the Danube, at kilometer 1,366, 40 km from the Belgrade-Budapest highway.
