This Chinese company is in charge of the futuristic roofs at Expo 2027 – They are sending 1,200 tons of steel structures and 70,000 m² of transparent air-cushioned membranes to Belgrade

The Chinese company Zhejiang Wanhao Space Structure Group, which specializes in the production of ETFE membranes and secondary steel frames that support these membranes, has made the first delivery of steel structures for the Expo Serbia project.

The steel components were recently sent in more than ten truck containers from the factory to the port. Wanhao, as the company announced on social networks, is providing more than 1,200 tons of secondary steel structures and over 70,000 m² of ETFE material for Expo 2027.

In a post on its Linkedin profile, the Chinese company states that the EXPO 2027 Main Pavilion, which is currently under construction, will be one of the most technologically advanced and complete EXPO pavilions in Europe.

The membrane structure is arranged inside and outside the building and includes corridors, exhibition halls and an administrative building that connect all pavilions and provide protection from wind and rain, as well as from the sun, while moving between halls, the description says.
