The new factory will, as stated, bring a modern, environmentally improved cement production process, and it is planned to employ at least 51 workers in the first phase.
Lafarge already operates in Beocin, where it employs around 320 workers. The company, as stated, continues to invest in Serbia, with the support of the local communities in which it operates.
With this investment, Serbia, according to the Ministry of Economy, continues to attract new investments in the industrial sector and strengthens production capacities in the construction industry.
Let us remind that, in August last year, it was announced that Lafarge BFC Serbia planned to open a factory in Obrenovac that would produce cement from ash from thermal power plant ash dumps.
