Serbia’s ICT services exports up 13% – Surplus exceeds EUR 2.3 billion

Serbia’s ICT services exports in the first eight months of 2025 reached EUR 2.967 billion, representing a 13% increase compared to the same period last year, announced the Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment, Mihailo Jovanovic.

– These results further confirm that Serbia holds a leading position in the region when it comes to the development of the ICT sector, but in order to maintain this position and further growth, we must continue to work intensively on the development of innovation infrastructure, digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence and the development of biotechnology – stressed Jovanovic.

According to the office’s data, the surplus in the exchange of ICT services in the period January-August 2025 amounted to EUR 2.345 billion, while the number of employees in this sector exceeded 115,000.
