Investor interest in government bonds waning

The realization percentage is 38.47% for this sale, which means that investor interest has waned.
Only the first issue of these bonds in January was successful with a realization percentage of almost 93%, the two subsequent auctions recorded a significant decrease in interest in these securities.
In March, realization was below 37%, and in May, it was 34.38%.
This is a reopened issue of ten-and-a-half-year government bonds of the Republic of Serbia and matures on July 27, 2035, and was first issued on January 23, 2025.
The total demand volume was 20,625,280,000 dinars. 1,098,365 government bonds with a coupon rate of 5.25% were sold.
The lowest offered rate was 4.7%, while the weighted average rate of accepted offers was 4.9060%.
The ten-year bonds were sold at a yield of 5.10% per annum, or at a price of 10,188.80 dinars. The coupon payment in the amount of 5.25% will be made semi-annually, on January 27 and July 27, until the maturity date.
