Minimum wage higher from October – To exceed EUR 500

The minimum wage in Serbia will be higher by 9.4% from October and will amount to more than EUR 500, it was agreed at a session of the Social-Economic Council (SEC) of Serbia.


Chairwoman of the SEC and Minister of Labor Milica Djurdjevic Stamenkovski said that the decision on the extraordinary increase had been made unanimously and was the result of social dialogue in Serbia.

The established minimum wage, which will be applied from January 1 this year, is 308 dinars net per working hour.
