The Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair is planning to launch flights between Dublin and Nis from the summer season, since, according to the EX-YU Aviation News portal, this transporter has been allocated slots to commence these flights.

They write that a report by Airport Coordination Limited, a slot coordination company, shows that Ryanair has been allocated these slots.

– The airline has secured 210 aircraft movements on the route, meaning 105 flights in each direction during the upcoming summer season, which begins on March 31, 2024 and lasts until late October – they say on the EX-YU Aviation News website.

They also note that it is still possible for Ryanair to amend plans and use the allocated Nis slots for another destination, however, the carrier has filed to use the flight times at Dublin Airport for services to the southeast Serbian city.

There are currently no flights between Serbia and Ireland.

Let us remind that, at the beginning of this year, Ryanair canceled the line from Nis to Bergamo, and then also the one to Stockholm. From the Nis Constantine the Great Airport, this low-cost carrier only operates routes to Malta and Vienna at the moment.
